What makes EMSAM different?

EMSAM® (selegiline transdermal system) is the first and only once-daily skin patch for the treatment of MDD (depression). EMSAM is designed to continuously deliver medication over a 24-hour period. In clinical trials, EMSAM was proven to effectively treat symptoms of MDD.

EMSAM is a unique option for someone with MDD because it’s a skin patch, rather than a pill. EMSAM delivers medication through your skin, so that it enters your bloodstream without going through your stomach first.
